The City of Apopka has few restrictions on fencing with the exception that wood fence support rails must not be visible from outside the fence. Apopka has several large communities within its limits that allow or require a wide variety of fences. One interesting thing about Apopka is that its mailing addresses are in Orange and Seminole Counties. So if you are outside city limits, you will either be in Unicorporated Orange County or Unicorporated Seminole County. Both are easy to deal with when it comes to fences.
Permitting:
Obtaining permits from the Apopka Building Department is relatively simple. Permits are issued at the counter with no real wait. A survey is required for the permit and any project over $2500.00 must include a Notice of Commencement. Luckily, we handle all this for you as part of our standard service.
